Accord­ing to the doc­tor’s scales yes­ter­day, I’ve lost 12 pounds in the last 4–6 weeks. I don’t feel any dif­fer­ent and don’t think I look any dif­fer­ent. Most of my clothes are already worn loose, so I guess I would­n’t nec­es­sar­i­ly notice such a thing with­out a scale.

If I have lost weight, though, curiousmay9 and sam­bear are to cred­it. They keep remind­ing me to eat, so I’m actu­al­ly get­ting three meals and a snack or two into me most days. The food we keep around is pret­ty healthy, too. And I’m find­ing that giv­en a choice between fruit and cook­ies, I usu­al­ly pre­fer the fruit.

I’m still work­ing on adding more veg­gies, but the broc­coli Sam steamed the oth­er night was sur­pris­ing­ly delicious.

curiousmay9 and I have dis­cussed going on Weight Watch­ers as a fam­i­ly, most­ly so that Katie and I will eat enough. I don’t know how Sam and Katie would feel about that, but Sam was VERY sup­port­ive when I joined Weight Watch­ers before. He changed the way he ate, too, just to be sweet.
