According to the doctor’s scales yesterday, I’ve lost 12 pounds in the last 4-6 weeks. I don’t feel any different and don’t think I look any different. Most of my clothes are already worn loose, so I guess I wouldn’t necessarily notice such a thing without a scale.
If I have lost weight, though, curiousmay9 and sambear are to credit. They keep reminding me to eat, so I’m actually getting three meals and a snack or two into me most days. The food we keep around is pretty healthy, too. And I’m finding that given a choice between fruit and cookies, I usually prefer the fruit.
I’m still working on adding more veggies, but the broccoli Sam steamed the other night was surprisingly delicious.
curiousmay9 and I have discussed going on Weight Watchers as a family, mostly so that Katie and I will eat enough. I don’t know how Sam and Katie would feel about that, but Sam was VERY supportive when I joined Weight Watchers before. He changed the way he ate, too, just to be sweet.
