“Upgrades” That Aren’t

Oh, right, the new version of WebCT is an “upgrade.” Isn’t that supposed to mean it has improvements?

There’s no longer an option to have the email for different courses forwarded to another email address, so I have to log in to their horrid web interface to check and send messages.

It has CONSTANT javascript errors no matter which browser I use.

In order to post a message to the discussion boards (which is required by my instructor), it’s trying to load a java applet. It has been trying to do so for more than 10 minutes now. That’s on a DSL connection, using Mozilla, on a PC with a GB of RAM.

And it won’t let me close the freakin’ window, either. I’m going to have to use a three-fingered salute.
