We can have the Girl Scout parent meeting at a nearby church. In fact, it seems that darn near every troop in this service unit meets at that church. They’re very nice about it, and they do have a big education building with lots of rooms.
But I’m not entirely comfortable with a church. And we’re only going to have about seven girls in our troop. So I’m thinking about just having the meetings here. We’ll be able to have the piano and the kitchen around and the playroom will be available for any tagalongs or parents who want to stay during meetings. And honestly, I always just feel better when I’m in control of my environment. So I’m thinking about doing that. What do you think?
But the service unit leader STILL hasn’t emailed me the parents’ names and phone numbers!
