I’m posting the introduction to this week’s Free Will Astrology newsletter because I found it so apt. It explains exactly why I don’t have the TV news on, why I don’t read or watch much dark or depressing stuff, why I greatly prefer heroic stories in general, why I want to hear (and make) music that makes me feel good.
DEAR BEAUTY AND TRUTH FANS,
The poet Muriel Rukeyser said the universe is composed of stories, not atoms.
The physicist Werner Heisenberg declared that the universe is made of music, not matter.
And I believe that if you habitually expose yourself to toxic stories and music, you could wind up living in the wrong universe—a universe where it’s impossible to become what you were born to become.
I bring this up, Beauty and Truth Fans, because it has never been more important for you to nourish yourself with righteous tales and tunes. Your imagination has been under attack for years, and the offensive is constantly building in strength. By the estimate of my team of prayer warriors, 95 percent of all the stories currently being sent your way by the news and entertainment industries are composed of nasty psychic garbage. This flood constitutes a stupendous act of black magic that is unprecedented in the history of the world.
What are you going to do about it?
My first suggestion is to protect yourself. Be very discerning about what stories, images, and sounds you allow to enter into the holy temple of your imagination.
My second suggestion is to seek out stories, images, and sounds that will inspire you to exercise your willpower for your own highest good.
But do you even know where to look for tales and tunes that resound with redemption, integrity, inspiration, breakthrough, ethical success, joy, harmony, delight, sweet orgasm, wise passion, and emotional wealth and health? Are there reliable sources of beauty, truth, love, and goodness where your soul can
go to feed?
