I am so geeky. I actually spent time this morning writing down stuff about the government of the country one of my D&D characters has found herself queen of. I mean, heck, you’re starting a whole new place essentially from scratch, why not use it to work out some political fantasies/theories?
I had a medical terminology quiz to make up that took all of 30 seconds or so, then had time to kill waiting for sambear and shadowkatt to return to pick me up. I’m not driving right now, because the muscle cramps and spasms in my neck have affected my ability to really turn and look all around me well enough to be a good driver. shadowkatt had an appointment at the same time as my quiz, so sweet sambear took her there. Things took rather longer than expected, and the TCOM “lab” (room of PCs we can use) was closed, so I ended up sitting in the library for a while. I couldn’t focus on the texts I was trying to read, so I started doodling about the government.
For some reason, the lower part of my back feels like huge needles are being stabbed in on both sides. Lovely. Sciatica kinda thing. I don’t think there’s a thing in the world to be done about that sort of thing, just like everything else with my body. I think I’m gonna go take a nap now. I didn’t sleep so well last night for some reason. I’m probably just getting used to not having the A/C on. I am not hot-natured like Sam, but I like to sleep in a cold room under lots of covers, conducive to snuggling.
