Grrr. Never, ever, no matter what, register a domain through Yahoo.
The domain name for our homeschooling group was registered with Yahoo by the group’s president. There’s supposed to be a “control panel” to permit management of the domain—changing contact info, DNS, etc. That’s where all the help files and Yahoo’s support people send you when you ask questions about such issues.
That page is nothing but advertisements. There is no control panel. Period. There isn’t. It doesn’t matter who is looking at it, and what Yahoo ID they’ve logged in as (the owner of the domain, me, etc.)—there is no control panel.
The phone number given in the domain registration as a contact point for Yahoo is nothing but a recording referring the caller to the website that has no control panel, or an email address that gets no responses but the autoreply (again, sending one to the useless web site).
GRRRRRR!
