wordcandlemage has an important event happening today. Unfortunately, I’m not up to going. sambear and shadowkatt are there to represent the family.
I’ll rest more, and hopefully have the energy to do some things around here.
Another nice thing about my desk: my computer charges, and it takes no time at all to unhook it and take it elsewhere to use. Right now, I’m sitting in bed. The battery doesn’t last as long as I’d really like, but 2-3 hours is plenty of time to check up on the world. (Battery life varies depending on what I’m doing.)
I’m about to do more stitching. I seem to do it in fits. If I keep it in sight, I’ll do it more often.
I still lust after a really good needlework stand, but where would I put it? They aren’t very portable, either. Still, having one would keep the larger pieces more available for stitching.
I’m frustrated, though, as I know I have another piece of fabric cut and prepped for these Christmas pieces and I can’t find it.
I don’t suppose any of you local folks do framing, do you? I have a huge backlog of pieces to be framed. In fact, I’ve never had anything I’ve kept framed—just gifts.
