A friend just posted one of those “anonymous confession posts,” enabling anonymous commenting and disabling IP address logging.
I never have anything to say in those threads. I can’t think of anything that I wouldn’t just say as me. I don’t honestly care to read anything that someone wouldn’t stand behind as themselves, either.

Um, okay—I just realized that responding might be “outing” yourself about such things. I’m not trying to do that. I’m just wondering about why people do and respond to such posts.
