And Another Thing

(I broke one long entry up into sev­er­al short­er ones since there was­n’t much to relate the items, anyway.)

I got a cat­a­log yes­ter­day about “Zen at the Moun­tain Monastery.” I have no idea why I’m on the mail­ing list for a monastery in New York, but it was inter­est­ing. Katie was, of course, intrigued by the Zen Archery course they offer.

Due to var­i­ous ill­ness­es and inter­rup­tions, the gar­den isn’t as hap­py as it should be. Things are, how­ev­er, grow­ing. Does­n’t some­one want to come to play in the dirt with me? I’m hav­ing trou­ble get­ting down on the ground to move some of my plants into their final pots.

But—we’ll con­tin­ue to have fresh pro­duce, no mat­ter what hap­pens with the gar­den. curiousmay9 signed us up with Riverview Farms, which is a cer­ti­fied organ­ic farm a bit north of Atlanta. It’s a Com­mu­ni­ty Sup­port­ed Agri­cul­ture arrangement.
