I don’t remember why this came to mind today, but it did.
Back in early 2002, starrchilde and rasilio were dealing with having just moved to a new place, not having stable employment, a surprise pregnancy, etc. They weren’t having an easy time of anything, to say the least.
Other friends of ours who had been chronically un or under-employed had a child, and they were having a very hard time putting groceries on the table.
Starrchilde and Rasilio showed up with several bags of groceries, clothes, and diapers for our other friends. I’m not entirely sure starrchilde had even met these people before!
They are damned fine people, and I’m proud to know them.
