Katie and I just returned from running errands. I had a nice, relaxing ride, chauffered by her. I love it.

We got the last bit of paperwork done in preparation for her departure on a cruise to the Bahamas this week. The poor child is so deprived!

Five people have signed up for the Challenge, which starts in a week. I’m excited!

The dreadful contractor is finally gone. Only the stains and the messy work remain. A carpet cleaning team is supposed to arrive tomorrow morning (yes, that’s Sunday morning) to try to salvage the carpets. I think they’re ruined, but we’ll see. The stains are certainly far more than my little steamer can handle.

I’m having weird urges to get rid of everything and live like a monk. The world feels too cluttered right now.
