I’ve wanted to go whitewater rafting again since I tried it with Katie’s father around 1989. It was a marvelous, exhilarating experience!
I’ve decided it’s time to stop “wanting” and talking about it and just plan a trip. Katie is old enough now—most places seem to have a 12/13-year-old minimum age for their trips.
And I wanna do it the cushy way—go up and rent a cabin with a hot tub/jacuzzi. The cost can’t be that bad split among several people, right?
This place seems particularly lovely. If I can’t find rafting nearby, I’m tempted to just set up a gaming/music weekend there anyway.
