There are two things that really upset Sam: an inhospitable bed, and the stove not being ready to cook on.
Since I did a LOT of laundry today, and I tend to sort it on our bed, that was definitely not a welcoming place. I had soaked and scrubbed the burners and reflector bowls, too. Happily, those have all been put to rights, so he should feel happier in some small way when he gets home despite the rest of the chaos.
I just found that the vacuum cleaner hose is all clogged up, though. And my hands aren’t cooperating with me trying to clear it after everything else I’ve done today.
