Send a fax, email, or letter to your state representatives about the Federal Marriage Act. H.J. Res 56/S.J. Res 26 would not only deny the right to marry to same-sex couples in committed relationships but would also invalidate all state and local domestic partnership laws and nullify civil rights protections based on marital status. Using the US Constitution to legalize discrimination is heinous, and it could become reality.
Speaking up via the ACLU website is free, and it only takes a moment. Do it now. Stop the Radical Religious Right from Amending the U.S. Constitution.
