What does “crush” mean to you?
For me, it means that someone is attractive and that I’m interested in getting to know him or her better, and it generally means that I realize that I’m at least a little infatuated with that person. Getting to know him or her better often means that the crush backs off or disappears altogether, as happens with any infatuation. I have crushes on most of the humans on my LJ friends list.
There are also people I’m not precisely crushing on, but who I love. I know them too well for crushes and infatuation.
