IRS Loses/Friends/Bread

Two interesting bits to share.

First, I definitely admit that I’m not the most up-to-date person in the world as far as current events go. But why haven’t I heard a peep about this story? “The biggest news of the entire week is that on August 8, 2003, the IRS was unable to convince a jury in Memphis, Tennessee that the Federal Tax Code requires the citizens to pay individual income taxes.”

And on the other end of the spectrum, I read a post that simplykimberly linked to in being_homeless’s journal. I read her bio. And I felt really, really uncomfortable. So I added her as a friend because I feel that I need to explore why it made me so uncomfortable.

Oh—one more. Yum! I think I may want to try baking bread, too.
