Plant Name

That plant that I liked, but wasn’t willing to pay over $30 for? It was a bromeliad.

But now I can’t remember a bunch of other plant names, like the fragrant bushes Sam picked out today! And we couldn’t find any lemon balm at Pike’s or Home Depot.

We did, however, find a ground cover to use in the places that aren’t otherwise occupied in the front yard: Sicilian mint. It’s low, it spreads quickly, and it smells WONDERFUL.

Sam said that if we want to get him interested in gardening, we must put in a water feature. curiousmay9 is cool with that, so I’m starting to plan one. I think we’ll put it in front, right between the two magnolias. That area is really wet anyway, which makes it hard to grow much except moss.
