When I was a kid/teen, crushes were negative. 99% of the time, the crushee never knew about my feelings, and certainly never showed any interest in me.
Now, having a crush on someone means that I’m really interested in the crushee, and probably at least slightly infatuated. I’m not necessarily sexually/romantically interested (but might be), I just find him absolutely marvelous in some respect. I want to know more. I’d like to meet her offline, or if we’ve met before, spend more time with her.
