I spent a lot of time in the car again yesterday. It seems to be my lot in life anymore.
When we bought Alluna, we needed to transport five people on a regular basis, but we weren’t really driving that many miles. She’s comfortable, but her fuel economy isn’t particularly economical.
I saw a 2002 Toyota Prius Hybrid for sale today at a good price. curiousmay9 says they have a noisier ride than her Honda, but otherwise, they’re pretty good. I still want a comfortable vehicle, though, and I like quiet. I’m not quite ready to move forward yet, so I’ll just keep looking and try to figure out what kind of car I do want.
We will need a larger vehicle again after our hoped-for baby arrives next year, but I figure we can switch vehicles then instead of paying so much for gas now.
