Puzzle Nuisance

I did my smaller puzzle before bed last night. It’s missing a piece! WAAAHHHH! I didn’t misplace it and the cat was sleeping in another room. It’s truly Not There.

There was a little slip of paper in the box giving an email address for the company. So I emailed them, only to get an autoresponder telling me to send them the UPC code and piece of paper to a snail mail address to receive “a complimentary puzzle of comparable value from our stock inventory.” I don’t want another puzzle chosen randomly from those that didn’t sell well. I want the puzzle I picked out! And why did it give me an email address if I was just going to be told to send snail mail?
