Ques­tion for all of you: How does some­one with an extreme­ly unhealthy rela­tion­ship with food go about heal­ing that, and real­ly learn­ing to cook/do meal plan­ning, etc.? I know the basic mechan­ics of cook­ing, I just avoid things relat­ed to food in gen­er­al if I can. Food isn’t even appeal­ing most of the time, so I just don’t eat until I can’t avoid it or Sam makes me eat. I don’t want to pass this crap on to my daughter—and thank­ful­ly she does­n’t show any signs of it—but I also just need to get past it for me.
