Wash­ing­ton State Con­sid­ers Lying to Chil­dren About Sex

This one real­ly got my atten­tion, par­tial­ly because I actu­al­ly brought in doc­u­men­ta­tion to back up my claim that the sex ed part of Gwin­nett Coun­ty’s health edu­ca­tion text­book was WRONG in sev­er­al vital par­tic­u­lars when I was in a health class back in 1980 or 1981. I was told by good old rat-faced Coach Tay­lor that, “I don’t care and I’m not gonna read that. This is the book, this is what’s on the test.”
