Spiritual Compost

I love damiana_swan’s concept of “spiritual compost.” I am hereby swiping it, blatantly and without remorse. So there.

Having astonishingly wonderful people come into your life and finding that you love them and they love you and damn, this is so incredible that you want to shout from every rooftoop is honestly an experience I cannot describe.

Unfortunately, the process of growing closer frequently involves turning the ol’ spiritual compost pile. And there’s nasty stuff in there.

But if you can make it past the nasty stench, you wind up with some extremely potent fertilizer that can lead to beautiful harvests in the future.
