While Waiting for the Cough Medicine to Kick In

I wait­ed too long between dos­es, dammit.

Any­way, sev­er­al con­ver­sa­tions in var­i­ous places late­ly leave me with stray thoughts.

It piss­es me off when peo­ple link things like tantric sex with polyamory. It’s a rela­tion­al style, not a reli­gion. I don’t care who does tantric sex, it isn’t inher­ent­ly relat­ed to polyamory any more than hav­ing green eyes is. The same goes for hold­ing par­tic­u­lar polit­i­cal views, being a veg­e­tar­i­an, work­ing in cer­tain pro­fes­sions, etc. 

And on a total­ly dif­fer­ent note, the most sta­ble poly peo­ple I know face to face are those I’ve met out­side poly groups/events.
