Isn’t it a little weird that so many years after the Kennedy era, CNN always has to refer to the newly-convicted murderer Michael Skakel as “Kennedy cousin Michael Skakel” as if that’s the most important thing about the whole case? What about “teen killer Skakel” or “chubby white guy Skakel” or “Moxley murderer Skakel” instead, just for a change? I mean, he’s the nephew of a woman who married into the Kennedy family. That’s it. I’m not a fan of the Kennedys, but really—if some guy who worked for JFK’s pool service in 1962 is arrested during a hold-up, I figure we’ll hear about it on CNN. “Kennedy employee” yadda yadda yadda.
