We’re still work­ing on a real solu­tion to hav­ing Sam com­fort­able at his PC. He got rid of his com­put­er desk, as he wished to do, and replaced it with a small stand. He likes to sit lean­ing back with his key­board in his lap but wants to be able to sit up with the key­board on a sta­ble sur­face, too. We may be able to find some sort of key­board draw­er that will work with the stand, but it is quite narrow.

Sit­ting back as he likes breaks desk chairs. Sit­ting in an arm­chair is prefer­able, but then he can’t real­ly see his monitor.

I think he needs some­thing that will hold the 19″ mon­i­tor and a key­board draw­er but swing over his chair and let him push it aside when necessary.

I know these things exist. I also know that they’re quite expen­sive. So are good LCD mon­i­tors, which would make it much eas­i­er to arrange what he needs.

I just want him com­fort­able. So we’ll keep look­ing. If you come across some­thing that looks like­ly, please speak up!
