Daddy, I love you. Thank you for doing a damned good job of rearing me and my brother and sister the best way you knew how. I know you worked two and three jobs at a time so Mom could be at home and we’d have what we needed. The fact that we don’t agree on so many issues now doesn’t diminish my love for you at all. You’ll always be Daddy to me.
And to Wayne, wherever he is now: thank you. We made a beautiful, marvelous person together. I wish you could see her growing up and getting more and more wonderful. You were a very good father and a far better co-parent than many people could or would be.
