I find it absolutely infuriating to have communication with someone cut off, rather than proceeding to work through an issue.
I’m nowhere near perfect. I am an outspoken bitch who holds very strong and often unpopular opinions on many things.
I do, however, admit it when I’m wrong. And I do my damnedest to make amends for my mistakes.
It isn’t possible to work through a problem if the other party won’t communicate. And to be accused of something, then be refused access to the information that would allow me to 1) verify that this thing happened; and 2) start working on fixing the problem—that makes me crazy.
If you accuse me of something—even privately—you owe me the courtesy of communication, at the very least. I would certainly extend the same courtesy to you.
