I meant to share this, and just remembered it while chatting with dwivian.
Last week I encountered a young woman (early 20s, probably) who had a tattoo of Kali covering her forearm from the wrist to the inner elbow. There was no mistaking that it was Kali, complete with skulls.
I asked the girl about it, and she said, “No, that’s Lady Luck. I got it done in Vegas. Who’s Kali?”
I explained what little I know of Kali, and asked how her luck has been. She admitted that it hasn’t been so good, so I suggested that perhaps reading a little about the Dark Mother would be wise.
