Feeling Better

The liberally educated person is one who is able to resist the easy and preferred answers not because he is obstinate but because he knows others worthy of consideration.

I don’t agree with MoveOn.org’s push to ask CBS not to “censor” ads, as they seem to have misunderstood the meaning of the word. BUT I do like the winning ad in MoveOn.org Voter Fund’s Bush in 30 Seconds ad contest.

I’m feeling much better now. Unfortunately, though, I’m back to the choice of being able to drive and otherwise function reasonably well, or not hurting.

Ooo, happy! The doctor just called in a prescription for the allergy med I wanted in the first place. Yay! It was only $16. The Allegra‑D was over $80.

The shopping list now includes a replacement filter for the ice maker’s waterline, a filter for the humidifier, and three desk chairs. And shoes. I’m currently wearing sneakers that predate my relationship with Sam, so I suppose it isn’t too surprising that the support isn’t supporting anymore.
