I found the book “Discover Your Child’s Learning Style” by M. Willis and V. Hodson to be VERY helpful. It has little quizzes that the child can take themselves, and assessment/observation list for parents of pre-readers. It even discusses environmental factors: light, temperature, background noise, etc, in addition to separating areas of
*interest* from areas of *talent*.
