College Cogitating

I know that some people take time off to go to school and get a degree, living on student loans. When I had a student loan, long ago, it just covered the bare tuition amount—not even books. So how do you do that?

I’m really wondering if that would be the best thing for me to do—go back to school and get a degree so that I could make a much better living when I do go back to work. It’s all the way on the other side of town and I HATE driving, but Southern Tech (sorry, Southern Polytechnic State University now) has a tech writing degree and I keep thinking about it.

But I have a child. And this family with sambear. And things like a car payment. And I really, really need health insurance, which I can’t get right now. And those are the things I can’t quite figure out yet.
