How has technology benefited the world? Or has it worsened it?
Benefited, definitely, although it has also presented problems and hasn’t always been used wisely. I’ll always choose a world with modern medicine and a need to overcome pollution issues over one where I’d have, at most, a 30-year life expectancy. Since my only child presented breach, I would almost certainly have died birthing her at 24 without modern medicine, and it’s unlikely she would have survived, either.
