Favorville!
Okay – I’m not giving up Freecycle completely I even defended Freecycle in the comments of an A-list blog yesterday!), as Favorville will have to build a lot of momentum before it gets the same level of networking that Freecycle already has in place. The difference, though, is that Favorville permits, well, favors.
I actually see this kind of site as being better in terms of building connections between people in a community. Relationships are important, not things. I’ve posted an offer and responded to two requests for help.
I think the Atlanta community needs to be narrowed down a fair amount, but since there are only 43 (wait – 49? up 6 since this morning, cool!) members that can wait a bit.
