Update: I told Mom just now when she dropped off the girls that we won’t be there tomorrow night. I told her that I consider Matt a toxic presence in our lives because of his behavior and that I have had to remove him from our lives for that reason. I explained that I love her and Daddy, and didn’t want this to affect them, which is why I haven’t said anything to them about it in the past six months. She looked like she was going to cry, and left quickly.
