Jewish Kids at Easter

I don’t remember if I posted this before or not, but I left it in a comment in ginamariewade‘s journal and remembered that y’all might enjoy the story.

A former Girl Scout co-leader and her very Jewish family happened to be in a restaurant on Easter morning. Her girls, about 6 and 7 at the time, wanted to know what the big deal was about Easter, so Cheryl explained about Jesus dying and coming back to life.

The girls looked at each other, looked at their parents, and in unison said, “JESUS is a ZOMBIE?” very loudly. The rest of the diners were not amused, but Cheryl and her husband had a very good laugh out of it.

Cyn is Rick's wife, Katie's Mom, and Esther & Oliver's Mémé. She's also a professional geek, avid reader, fledgling coder, enthusiastic gamer (TTRPGs), occasional singer, and devoted stitcher.
