With technology, anyway.
I just don’t remember to go check up on most websites. Looking at my LJ friends list is fairly habitual, but that’s about it.
I did subscribe to lots of syndicated feeds, but they just cluttered up my friends page. Since most of them only gave me a title and a few “teaser” lines, I wasted time following links.
I started using Thunderbird as an aggregator yesterday. I’m tickled with how well it works! I see the new posts on the feeds when I check my email. I can scan and delete the irrelevant ones, and easily save or share the good ones.
So be warned, I’m able to keep up with my favorite news sources with much less hassle now!
