Disappointed!
I got all excited about the software that automatically downloads assignments from WebCT’s calendar into the Palm Datebook. The configuration didn’t work as it seemed that it should, so yesterday I called to ask about how to enter the server address. I was told, “I’ll have to get someone technical to call you.” I verified that I had, in fact, called the tech support line. The woman who’d answered said she only does username and password issues. Right—really technical!
Anyway, a nice fellow called today to see what kind of server problems I was having. I explained what I was trying to do, and learned that the version of WebCT used for my eCore class isn’t supported by the LinkWebCT software yet.
Boo!
