Disap­point­ed!

I got all excit­ed about the soft­ware that auto­mat­i­cal­ly down­loads assign­ments from WebC­T’s cal­en­dar into the Palm Date­book. The con­fig­u­ra­tion did­n’t work as it seemed that it should, so yes­ter­day I called to ask about how to enter the serv­er address. I was told, “I’ll have to get some­one tech­ni­cal to call you.” I ver­i­fied that I had, in fact, called the tech sup­port line. The woman who’d answered said she only does user­name and pass­word issues. Right—really technical!

Any­way, a nice fel­low called today to see what kind of serv­er prob­lems I was hav­ing. I explained what I was try­ing to do, and learned that the ver­sion of WebCT used for my eCore class isn’t sup­port­ed by the LinkWe­bCT soft­ware yet.
