Credit for Life Experience?

Hmmm. I know hopeevey, cybrcat, redcub and Deedra of triadj are also “non-traditional college students.” And jerseygirl1 just finished up her degree. There’s probably someone I’ve missed, too.

Have any of you tried to get credit for life experience other than by taking something like a CLEP test? Anybody else?

There must be some way to get useful credits out of being an old lady with much living behind her. I’ve worked in my major field (technical communications) before, and the other tech work I’ve done should be useful as I’m considering either a dual major or a minor in IT or computer science.

My resume is at https://www.technomom.com/cynthia/resume.html to give you an idea of the experience to which I’m referring. That only goes back to 1990, because putting *all* of my work experience on a resume would make it ridiculously long.
