So we found the apartment we want. We put in an application and deposit. We’d appreciate “approve them!” vibes from all of you 🙂
This is especially important because our landlord has decided to be an asshole. After three years of us taking care of this place as if we owned it instead of simply renting it, after repeatedly telling us we’d get a good referral from him when we move, he’s changed his mind. Honestly, I think it’s because the health department made him replace the septic tank, and he’s ticked off at having to spend money on the place at all. Considering the conversation Sam had with him on the phone the other night, I really don’t think we will get a good referral. Or our deposit back.
Oh, cybrcat—I think this location should be reasonably convenient for dropping K off during the summer. It’s right off 75 in Kennesaw.
