Net Is Back!

This is my first net fix since Sat­ur­day! At least sam­bear FINALLY found out (sup­pos­ed­ly) what the prob­lem was. Sup­pos­ed­ly our account was dis­abled in their sys­tem. They don’t know why—it was paid in full.

We strong­ly sus­pect that it hap­pened because we can­celed the cable TV part of the account on Tues­day. We had­n’t been watch­ing it, so why keep pay­ing for it?

We’d been very, very clear about the fact that we want­ed the inter­net con­nec­tion to stay con­nect­ed. Why has it been work­ing inter­mit­tent­ly? Nobody knows. Why did­n’t any of the oth­er techs, includ­ing the one who was here Sun­day morn­ing, tell us this? Sheer per­ver­si­ty? I dun­no, and if any­one else does, they’re not saying.

Any­way, it’s up again. Many hun­dreds of email mes­sages are down­load­ing now. Yay!
