Has anyone ever registered successfully at ThinkExist? I’ve tried many times, with different addresses, and never received even one confirmation message. I’ve also tried using their contact form many times, with no response. I finally tried contacting them via their domain registration address today. Google says I’m not the only one who has experienced this […]
Do you make websites?
Grrr
The latest version of WordPress is out, so I upgraded this blog right away, as I usually do. Of course, the plugin I use most, Now Reading, choked and won’t work anymore. Le sigh. The problems with the previous “new” WP version were never truly resolved, and now the author’s forum isn’t working, either. I […]
Ooo, I Hate That!
I wrote a long post about stuff that was in the paper, hit Publish—and then found out that our internet service was down. And I couldn’t get the post back. Gah! I’ll figure out rewriting the post after I’m not so annoyed.
What’s the Opposite of Speed? Slowth?

Amazon Weirdness
I’m tired. I spent entirely too much time over the last 48 hours futzing with the library part of this site. The software I use to create that, Now Reading, automatically pulls images of book covers from Amazon whenever I add a book to the library. Amazon automatically sets affiliate links up that way, so they’ve […]
Any Plurkers?
That man roped me into another messaging thingie, Plurk. If you’re already a member, I’m TechnoMom there, of course. I can’t really blame him, since Twitter seems to be down all the time. Pownce never really took off, did it? I wish Plurk had a desktop client, though. I must say that I find Twitter’s excuses […]
School Happy
I finally got the grades from the first technical writing assignment I turned in last week, and the peer reviews I did on two of my classmates’ rough drafts. I got full points for all of them! I was worried about one of the peer reviews because the person chose to do a set of instructions […]
