Okay, I didn’t forget, but I forgot to mention in my earlier post that I met Greenbear, a friend of redcub‘s, this weekend.
His recitations of Shel Silverstein are not to be missed. I’d never heard most of the pieces before and was tickled to hear him do “The Great Smoke Off” not once but twice.
I also enjoyed his original music, and the stuff he played with Terri & The Space Pirates. redcub, do you know if he shares the lyrics/music to his stuff at all?
I thought I recognized the name Greenbear from something redcub had said in the past, so I asked Greenbear if he knew redcub (by his regular name). He looked at me with something like suspicion/surprise, and said, “Yes, very well. Is that a good thing or a bad thing?” I was amused 🙂
