I’m having trouble believing that I just received an email from my father that’s supposed to be quoting something from the Dalai Lama. It’s a forwarded chain letter, and it has nothing at all to do with the Dalai Lama, but it isn’t like he’d check that in any case. It’s still a surprise to find an extremely conservative Southern Baptist even reading it, much less passing it on.
Warning: The Girl Scout cookie sale is from 1/23 to 2/1. If you want cookies, let us know. They’ve gone to $3.50 a box, and we’ll know which varieties are available this year after this weekend’s meeting. They’ll certainly have the old reliable ones—Thin Mints, Tagalongs, Trefoils, etc.
I’m brain-dead after attending GaFilk this weekend and need to go nap before taking up the daily TaxiMom duties. For now, I’ll just say that it was a lovely weekend, at home and at the con. Thank you, curiousmay9 🙂
