I have another migraine. I called the school to cancel the counseling appointment I was supposed to have at 9 am, and was told that the counselor is out sick with the flu anyway. No, they weren’t going to call me. Grrrrr!
This comes after being told that they won’t do a damned thing to work out paying Floyd College for the courses I’m taking with them before the fee payment deadline of 12/15. Nope. I’m supposed to pull $1300 plus several hundred dollars for texts out of the air, then wait for SPSU to get around to doing financial aid checks at the end of January. This system is not well-thought-out.
I’m considering transferring to another school that IS an ECore affiliate—preferably one that also has better support for non-traditional and disabled students. It’s too late to do it for spring semester, but not for summer. That would mean a major change, though. (sigh)
