Happy Moth­ers Day!

I must gloat. Not only did my sam­bear post a love­ly entry that made me cry last night, I final­ly have my car­pet steam­er! A deep-clean­er of my very own! I am SO happy!

While it may seem an odd present to some peo­ple, I have been lust­ing for a car­pet steam­er for sev­er­al years. I would pre­fer hav­ing hard­wood floors, but the real­i­ty is that we have car­pets and will have them in the new place. Clean­ing the car­pets reg­u­lar­ly makes a big dif­fer­ence in how they feel on bare feet, how long they last and look nice, and the total aller­gen load that affects all of us.
