Just a quick plug… how many other teen magazines do you pick up and find
1) NO makeup ads or clothing ads
2) Articles on virginity, ableism, “Standing Up and Out After 9/11,” body image, critiques of ads (by teens), activism, relationships with fathers, and post-partum depression?
3) Drawings, articles, poems, and stories BY teen girls instead of by people marketing things to girls
4) Articles that acknowledge that some of the readers might not be heterosexual (gasp!)
