Well, That’s Something

I made a friends-only post yes­ter­day about an infu­ri­at­ing expe­ri­ence with a health provider. The appoint­ment set­ter argued with me for about 10 min­utes, claim­ing that I could­n’t pos­si­bly be cov­ered under my part­ner’s health insur­ance because we aren’t mar­ried. The post was friends-only because I’m giv­ing the prac­tice a few days to rec­ti­fy the sit­u­a­tion before I trum­pet its name wide and far.

Anyway—I called our insur­er today to file a com­plaint, and the cus­tomer ser­vice per­son was suit­ably appalled. That’s some­thing, at least.
