Tomorrow morning at 9 am EST, we’ll be in court. sambear‘s ex-wife has filed her papers, and we filed our answer, and the judge will look at us and the papers and decide what happens next. The information we have says that he is most likely to say “okay, contested custody case, I’m referring you to juvenile court.” But he could side with her or us, too.
We seriously do not think it would be in the children’s best interests to go live with their mother—not for either child or for one of them alone. This is, for us, solely about what’s best for the kids and our kids.
