I’ve been a MyPoints member for a while now. I haven’t gotten any spam from them. Every message they’ve sent has been very clearly labeled. They give you “points” for reading messages from companies that sign up with them, with more points if you sign up for whatever they’re offering. (I don’t think I’ve ever signed up for any of the offers.)
You redeem the points at the MyPoints site, trading them in for any of a variety of offers. I really enjoyed the $25 Barnes & Noble card that I received just before Christmas.
And yes, I earn more points if you sign up, which is why I’m bugging you.
